bullet eEurope+ Progress report to be prepared at JHLC Meeting in Bruxelles
(Published on: 29.04.2002)

The eEurope+ progress report is one of the documents to be presented at the European Ministerial Conference on Information Society. Participants of the Joint High Level Committee’s meeting in Bruxelles on May 2 and 3 will prepare the document based on data of the statistical working group and on progress reports of each candidate country. The core message of the report will be that positive action based on a strong political commitment is needed to ensure that the EU Candidate Countries use the full potential offered by the Information Society and avoid a digital divide with the EU.
